November – Disciplinary Cases

Charge

The charge against LEX FC for Breach of COMET regulation 23 Competition Management - FAW Rule 38.1.1 or AA Standard Rule 24.1.1   LEX were charged for not Submitting their team line-ups on FAW COMET (starting line-up, substitutes and team Officials) in accordance with the deadlines imposed by the Competition Organizer.

 

Decision

An NEWFA Disciplinary Panel found the charge proven. The Panel imposed upon the Club £75 fine with £60 suspended until 31.5.25

Charge

The charge against Cefn Albion player for the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 or AA Standard Rule 24.1.9. Likely to bring the game into disrepute.  The player refused to leave the field of play after being sent off and continued using foul and abusive language towards the Referee after being sent off for the remainder and after the match.

Decision

An NEWFA Disciplinary Panel found the charge proven. The Panel imposed upon the Club £60 fine with £15 costs plus an additional 1-match suspension. 

 

October – Disciplinary Cases

 

Charge

The charge against Brickfield Rangers for the Disciplinary Offence as set out under AA Standard Rule 24.1.11 Failure of a Club’s SUPPORTERS to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion or refrain from violence, threatening, abusive obscene or provocative behaviour, conduct or language before, during or after a match: during or after a match, during the North East Wales Junior & Youth League U17 game between Holywell U17s v Brickfield U17s played on 20th August 2024.

Decision

An NEWFA Disciplinary Panel found the charge proven. The Panel imposed upon the Club a fine of £75.00 with £15 costs.

 

Charge

The charge against a Coach of Brickfield Rangers pursuant to the FAW’s Assault on Match Officials Regulations for the Technical Assault of an official during Wrexham & District Junior League U13 game between Borras Park Albion U13 v Brickfield U13 played on 7th   September 2024.

Decision

An NEWFA Disciplinary Panel found the charge proven. The Panel imposed upon the Coach a 181day match suspension from all football related activity including attending any football matches within the Welsh pyramid excluding international matches and a fine of £70.00 with £30 costs. However, ninety-one (91) of those matches and £50 would be suspended on completion of the FAW Safeguarding course.

 

 

Charge

The charge against a coach of Brymbo Lodge  for the Disciplinary Offence as set out under  AA Standard Rule 24.1.11 - Failure of a Club’s OFFICIALS to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion or refrain from violence, threatening, abusive obscene or provocative behaviour, conduct or language before, during or after a match, during the North East Wales Junior & Youth League U16 game between Hope Dragons U16 v Brymbo Lodge U16 played on 15th September 2024.

Decision

An NEWFA Disciplinary Panel found the charge proven. The Panel imposed upon the coach ten (10) match suspension from all football related activity and a fine of £100.00. However, all 10 of those matches and £100 are suspended until 31st May 2025. The Panel ordered the Coach to pay costs of £30.00.
