Shotton Steel retain VETS title

On a glorious afternoon at Rhydymwyn.  Shotton Steel produced an exempla performance to beat Rhyl Vets 3-2 in a fantastic final.  Rhyl had beaten Shotton twice in the group stages and were favourites prior to kick off, but Shotton demonstrated the magic of the cup coming from behind to take the title.  The picture shows Shotton taking the title presented by Nikki and Carol Beech.  This was a poigniant moment for NEWFA who have valued all the work that the late Mike Beech had inputted to help establish this competition and were delighted that the family had continued with his efforts, culminating in a memroable afternoon.
