Flint Mountain win the Horrace Wynne

Written by The North East Welsh FA, June 10, 2019

In what was the first senior game of the Festival of football weekend.  Connahs Quay Nomads side (who play in the North East Wales League) took on fellow league members Flint Mountain.  A local derby and this did prove to be a spicy and eventful match.  A very close game in which Flint Mountain did win 3-2, but this was a game where challenges were flying, red cards and plenty of goals.  Congratulations to Flint Mountain who take the trophy and we look forward to seeing all teams competing again next season.
